Difference Between First Time and Second Time Pregnancy

by Jessica Roberts Self Employed

There is always a lot of difference that you will feel when you are pregnant for a second time rather than what you felt during your first time. You will still need to avail of baby scan packages to make sure that your baby is growing well. But other than that, there are several changes that you will feel from your first time. Take a look at what they could be.

1.You might feel your pregnancy

As you have already experienced everything once before, it is quite possible that you will be more attuned to the early pregnancy symptoms. You will also be able to recognize the symptoms properly. Also, the symptoms could vary from your previous pregnancy. One of the common of them is that morning sickness might be less or more than your previous times. On the other hand, some of the symptoms could be less prominent. You might get fewer food aversions than your previous one.

2.Mental health could be better

As you have already experienced all this once, you will automatically feel less anxious and worried about your pregnancy. You will feel more relaxed. Once you avail your baby scan packages for your routine checkup, you will be able to enjoy your pregnancy more. On the other hand, you might feel more tired than before. As you are already a mother, it is quite obvious that you will be more tired during your second pregnancy.

3.Might start to show sooner

As your body has gone through this exercise once before, your body’s muscles have become looser. So, you will probably start to show much before than you did in your first pregnancy. Along with that, you also might carry your baby lower than you did in your first pregnancy. Your uterine muscles are not firm anymore, so it won’t be able to hold your baby as well as before.

4.The movement of the fetus will be sooner

You will be able to feel your baby much sooner than you did before. You will also be able to recognize quickly that your baby is moving and not confuse it with something else. By the fourth month of your pregnancy, if your baby starts to kick, you will be able to distinguish quickly.

5.Shorter labor and sever after-pains

The good news is that for your second pregnancy, your labor will be far shorter than your previous one. But the bad news is that you might feel many severe after-pains once you have given birth. Since your uterus is bigger in size, the birth will be easy, but the pain will be worse.

Therefore, there are several things that will show the difference between your first and second pregnancy. But, don’t forget that keeping a routine check on your baby with the help of baby scan packages is one thing that never changes.
