by Jennifer Joseph Healthcare Consultant
Diabtes is a case that is referred often as Diabetes Mellitus by the doctors. It is an actual description of a certain group of metabolic issues in which the individual suffers from the case of blood sugar or high case of blood glucose. It can be an either case of production of inadequate amount of insulin in the body or due to the non responsive acts of the body cells to the insulin and at times, it can due to both reasons. Various patients suffering from the case of very high level of blood sugar typically has experiences such as polyuria or generally known as frequent case of urination. These patients also experience the issue of being thirsty or polydipsia and other case such as excess hunger medically known as polyphagia.

There are 3 (three) types of Diabetes:
1) Type 1 (one): Type 1 diabetes is a case where the individual’s body doesn’t or stops producing required amount of insulin in the body which is why it is often referred as insulin dependent type diabetes or early onset type as people in this category develop and become diabetic in early period of adulthood or at times during teenage years. Type 2 is one of the most frequent kind of diabetes that occur to majority of the individual in comparison to the other types.
2) Type 2 (two): In this case, the body produces less than required insulin that are essential for a complete and proper functioning of the body which later leads to improper functioning of the cells in the body due to lesser insulin issues.
3) Gestational: The one type that affects female during the case of pregnancy. Women at times have high level of glucose during pregnancy period.

Treatments for Diabetes
1) Type 1: Consume insulin on daily basis, maintain a healthy diet, check level of blood sugar on daily basis and continue to have good regular physical activity.
2) Type 2: Buy Prandin to cut the case of Type 2 diabetes. It is considered as one of the effective medication for type 2.
3) Gestational: Monitor glucose level, diet and regular activity. Check insulin level and consult the medical expert accordingly.
For all the above, the insulin inefficiency matters the most and hence it is highly recommended to have usual checkups to confirm the level of diabetes. Controlling and maintaining a good diet along with proper medications for diabetes ensures control over the sugar level and helps in maintaining healthy individual levels.
