Designer Emma Wallace Releases Groovy 70’s-inspired Video to Celebrate Spring/Summer 2020 Campaignby DAVIS BROWN PRC Agency
If you haven’t yet heard of Brit brand, Emma Wallace, it’s time to add it to your fashion radar. Emma-Wallace.com's new Spring/Summer 2020 campaign dropped this week together with a magnificently shot video that seamlessly blends 70's disco vibes with the attention craving MMXX. The Emma Wallace SS20 launch video is live on Youtube https://youtu.be/AnhB_g547u8 . It is a superb mix of the 70’s with a distinctly unique colour palette that creates a modernistic take of a free spirited aesthetic. The video was shot in the artsy seaside town of Margate, England in bespoke wallpaper designer, Whinnie William’s home, with her daring decorations and wallpaper design as the perfect backdrop for Wallace’s collection.
The 1970’s was a decade that broke boundaries of all kinds uniting hippies and drag queens and everything in between. Wallace’s new Spring/Summer 2020 collection out now celebrates these free-spirited women who longed to challenge expectations and showcase their individuality. “The free-spirited woman is alive and going strong today. There are so many similarities between them then and now that I wanted a collection to celebrate that and empower women to continue to make the courageous waves that they have been doing for decades” says the British-born designer when describing her new collection, presented on the site https://emma-wallace.com/pages/ss20
The launch video celebrates Wallace’s fifth collection which draws inspiration from the Far East with its decadent colour palette, and seamlessly mixes it with 70s silhouettes for a touch of vintage glamour in the form of flared jumpsuits, draped silhouettes, striped prints and pastel shades, showcasing a unique style that is truly individual. This first capsule launch is part one of a four part series for this Spring/Summer season, and this minute long sassy video gives you a glimpse of what’s to come.
Emma Wallace's innovative, feminine and contemporary ready-to-wear pieces are full of colour, patterns and luxe materials. Perfect for both work and play, Wallace’s collections are designed for the busy woman, and for those who simply want to stand out with unique style. Wallace’s collections feature everything from printed maxi skirts, kimono jackets, jumpsuits, pencil skirts and unique party dresses.
