Less Than 2 Years Old Child-
(Traveling on an adult’s lap)
Childless than
two years old will require a ticket within the United States, and for travel
outside the United States, tickets are required but are usually charged at 10%
of the adult fare depending on the destination. A child below two years old
cannot travel alone and must be accompanied by a passenger at least 18 years
old.
Less Than Two Years Old- (Traveling On Own Seat)
For a child less
than two years old traveling on their own seat, a ticket is required for
traveling within the United States. For traveling outside the United States,
tickets are required; however, country specific discounts may be applied.
Children who are less than two years old cannot travel alone and must be
accompanied by a passenger at least 18 years old.
2 To 4 Years Old
For a child 2-4
years old traveling on their own seat, a ticket is required for traveling

5 To 7 Years Old

alone on selective non-stop Delta flights using the unaccompanied minor program.
8 To 14 Years Old
Children who are
8 to 14 years old require a ticket for traveling within the United States. For
traveling outside the United States, tickets are required; however, country
specific discounts may be applied. Children who are 8 to 14 years old can
travel alone on selective non-stop flights using the unaccompanied minor
program.
15 Years And Above
For traveling
outside the United States, tickets are required; however, country specific
discounts may be applied. Children who are 15 years and above are allowed to
travel alone.
