Delhi is the capital city of India and is one of the biggest metropolitan areas in the country. It has a hectic lifestyle and people migrate to the city in search of both a livelihood and to see the architecture of the 1600s. The city can be said to be divided into new and old Delhi. Where in New Delhi you will find the architecture relatively new and modern, on the other hand, that in old Delhi is still largely leaning on the historical side. One can find accommodation in the form of hotels in east Delhi.

The old Delhi (Shahjahanabad) is an area that still gives you a glimpse of how people used to live in the past. The houses built in the late 15th and 16th century still serve as home to a large population. Top sites to visit in old Delhi are the Red Fort, Purana Quila, Mehrauli Archaeological Park, Humayun’s Tomb, Jama Masjid, Hazrat Nizam Ud Din Dargah, Tughlaqabad and Qutab Minar.
