Oxford
A train journey to Oxford takes around an
hour from London Paddington and as home to one of the world’s most famous
universities it’s a wonderful place to take the time to visit. Alongside the well known university you can
also find stunning architecture, cobbled streets, plenty of culture, a covered
market and a beautiful botanical garden.

Brighton
Just one and half
hours could see you in one of the most unique and diverse cities in the whole
of the UK. Brighton is
quite unlike anywhere else you might have visited and if you fancy a trip to a

The area of Henley became famous for the annual rowing regatta which

afield lies The Cotswolds, a collection of idyllic villages which sit across 6
counties in the UK
but predominantly Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire. It takes around 2 hours to reach Moreton-in-Marsh
which is one of the major stations and which will allow you easy access to the
areas which make up The Cotswolds. If
you like chocolate-box cottages, rolling hills and stunning countryside then
this is the perfect place to head for a day trip from London.
Bath
An hour and a half
from London you will find Bath; which takes its name from the Roman
Baths which still remain here. It is an
incredibly picturesque city with light coloured stone featuring in almost all
the architecture. The Royal Crescent is particularly
breathtaking but you will also find a multitude of stores and restaurants worth
visiting here as well as the Jane Austen Centre, a number of museums and even some
working Roman thermal baths which is a very special experience to have in such
a well known British city.
