CSIR UGC NET 2015 – Council of Scientific and Industrial Research has released application for CSIR UGC NET 2015 Exam in order to pursue Junior Research Fellowship and Lectureship in the month of December 2015. CSIR UGC NET Exam is an OMR sheet based entrance exam. Interested candidates can apply online for CSIR UGC NET Exam only before 25 August 2015. Any application will not be entertained after the last date of submission.

CSIR UGC NET 2015 – Subjects:

• Mathematical Sciences

• Physical Sciences

• Chemical sciences

• Computer Sciences

• Engineering Sciences

• Atmospheric, Earth, Planetary and Ocean Sciences

CSIR UGC NET Exam – Eligibility Criteria:

a)Educational Qualification:-

1.B.E/B.tech/B.Pharma/Integrated BS-MS/MBBS/M.Sc or any equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks for candidates under general category. For candidates under OBC/SC/ST/Physically Challenged categories the minimum marks are 50%.

2.Candidates pursuing M.Sc or completed their graduation may also apply for above mentioned subjects under Result Awaited Category accompanied by requisite percentage in the same within the two years valid duration to avail the fellowship.

3.Candidates pursuing PhD can also appear for CSIR UGC NET Exam with minimum 55% and 50% marks for General and Reserved Categories respectively.

b)Age limit:-

1. For candidates under general category – maximum age is 28 years

2. For candidates under SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged/Female Aspirants – maximum age is 33 years.

Candidates appearing for CSIR UGC NET 2015 Exam are required to deposit the fees at any branch of Indian Bank. Candidates need to pay the following fee for CSIR UGC NET Exam:

• CSIR UGC NET Exam Fee for OBC Category – Rs.500/-

CSIR UGC NET Exam Date is 20 December 2015.

Morning Session will be held from 9.00 AM TO 12.00 PM

Afternoon Session will be held from 02.00 PM TO 05.00 PM.

CSIR UGC NET – Exam Pattern:

a.CSIR UGC NET Exam 2015 will consist of multiple choice questions on the basis of following subjects:

• Chemistry Sciences

• Atmospheric/Earth/Planetary and Ocean Sciences.

b.Time duration – 02 hours

c.Total marks – 200

d.There will be no negative marking.

e.There will be total three sections A,B and C respectively.

f.Section A will be common to all the candidates giving CSIR UGC NET Exam 2015 in different subjects.

g.Question in Section B and C will be asked on the basis of the subject of the candidate.
