Is the school in good standing with the state and local authorities? Make sure they are licensed and find out if they accept financial aid and, if so, has someone on staff to help you with that process.

Take a tour of the campus before enrolling. This will give you a sense of what it’s like and you may even get a chance to talk to some current students about their experiences with the school.
