Corpus Christi Health Insurance Will Increase Marginally On The Market Place

Corpus Christi Health Insurance rate hikes for 2020 appear to be modest for the second straight year, according to the first assessment of 2020 rates proposed by insurers. The rate filings, which are an early indication that 2019 rate hikes weren’t a fluke and that administration policies have proven less disruptive than some experts believed.

“It seems like things have stabilized,” said James Whisler, a principal with Deloitte Consulting who works with insurers on rate setting.

Rate hikes this year range from an average increase of 13 percent to reductions of 3 percent in different cities and states around the US. Even these modest hikes could get push backs form insurance regulators in Texas, meaning the 2020 health insurance premiums in Corpus Christi could be even lower when they are finalized shortly before open enrollment begins.
