Corey Christanell; Owner of St. Louis Training Ground Closes the Facility
by Mike K. Post your article at Aleshatech.comEarlier this
month, Corey Christanell issued a statement. The statement was about the
closure of St. Louis Training Ground due to the new pandemic – COVID-19.
Christanell, owner of St. Louis Training Ground closed the facility until
further notice. It’s not clear when he will reopen the facility, but maybe it’s
when the world will defeat this unforgiving Coronavirus.
Corey Christanell issued this statement
as a result of the increasing Covid-19 cases in many states in the US, including
Missouri state. Currently, this pandemic has claimed thousands of lives in the
US. In St. Louis County, there are over 2000 confirmed cases and 91 covid-19
related deaths. Some weeks back, the state had few confirmed cases, and that is
why Corey took a bold move to close the sports facility.
St. Louis
Training Ground is a spacious facility where indoor training for baseball,
soccer, football and other field sports take place. As a result, the facility attracts
huge crowds of people, including high school students, teams and top baseball
clubs. If the facility remained open and infected persons used the facility,
many people who used the facility were likely to get infected. Besides that,
patrons working at the facility were likely to be infected if they worked
closely with infected persons using the facility.
Therefore, to
protect the patrons and help stop the spread of Covid-19, Christanell saw it
necessary to close the facility. In addition to that, in order to adhere to
social distancing guidelines by the state, it was necessary to close the
facility. Also, as a smart entrepreneur, he had to do what is best for the
state – helping the state stop the spread of Covid-19.
Although, Corey
has not given the exact date when he intends to reopen the sports facility,
experts say it’s not soon. Covid-19 is spreading fast, and with over 2000
confirmed cases in St. Louis County, he has to wait for the right time to
consider reopening the facility. However, more guidelines will be provided by
the state and local authorities. Therefore, if you want to use the sports facility,
you have to wait longer until coronavirus is brought under control.
