Utilizing Content Writing with SEO

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) gives the different search engines the bread crumbs to follow a path to your website.

Some websites choose to saturate content with particular keywords to drive traffic in their direction.

Content that repeats the same words and phrases offers little to readers and does even less to create lasting relationship with those visitors.

The right combination using the right keywords, creating content that flows and providing a value in the articles for a reader will all allow you to use SEO to the best possible advantage.

Keys to Using SEO in Content

1.  Know What Keywords You Are Trying To Target.

There are several programs that can help you find the right keywords for your niche.

Discover what your target audience is searching and then create content around those words and phrases.

2. Use The Keywords In The Title.

Make the title catch the attention of the readers and the search engines by crafting catchy phrases that center on main words.

The title needs to be strong enough that the reader wants to visit, but search engine friendly at the same time.

3. Repeat The Keywords In The First Paragraph.

A strong first few sentences sets the tone for the entire article.

It tells the reader what to expect and also gives the search engines something to target.

4. Write Subheads Marked In Bold That Use The Keywords Or Phrases Again.

This will count towards the saturation of the body of the article, so keep that in mind.

5. Use Those Same Words Sparingly In The Content.

There may be times when the content requires repetition for impact.

TIP:  Most of the time, try to avoid repeating the same words too often or the flow will become jagged and the article more difficult to read (anything more than 2 to 3 percent saturation becomes overwhelming and may even target the content as spam).

6. Summarize The Article In The Final Paragraph By Repeating The Main Keywords And Phrases.

It wraps up the article and ties a little bow that the search engines find attractive.

The trick to using  SEO in content really is not that much of a trick.

KNOW WHAT YOUR AUDIENCE SEARCHES FOR ON THE INTERNET.

Target those keywords and phrases in the content that your create for your website.

Be careful not to overuse the words.

Once you get these basic steps mastered, the magic happens when you can create content that meets the SEO target and still provides the readers with something worth staying around to explore.

Great content can be optimized for search engines without becoming monotonous to the reader by focusing on the keywords without losing site of the big picture of content.
