Do you want to pursue post-graduation after MBBS? But you are confused between MD and MS courses that what you want to choose. But to become a specialist you need to pursue post-graduation and decide you want to become a physician or surgeon.

Difference between MD & MS

If you want to become a general physician then you can opt for an MD course but you want to be a surgeon then you can choose the MS course. Future Prospects Of MD & MS

The prospects of both courses are similar. But after completion of MD & MS students will specialise in their fields. But a physician can not be a surgeon but a surgeon can work as a physician. If we talk about earning so it of course surgeons will earn more from the physician. Master of the surgeon is a deeper study than a doctor of medicine. But there are amplified jobs for the physician and surgeon both even in India or abroad. Candidates can get a job in the government sector also and even they can also work in private hospitals, teaching faculty, or start their clinic. 

How To Appear For MD & MS Course In India?

To get admission in MD and MS courses in India students need to apply through NEET PG Exam 2021. To appear in this exam students need to be eligible to fill the form to appear in the exam. The eligible candidate can only apply for the courses. The candidate who qualifies for the exam and gets the desired cut off marks can continue through the counselling procedure. The counselling is done by MCC through which students get the desired college and continue for the 3 years course.
