Configuration of spindle bearings for CNC machining machine tools

Generally, the main shaft components of small and medium-sized CNC machining machine tools use rolling bearings as the main shaft support. At present, there are mainly three configuration methods:

1. Front support adopts double-row short cylindrical roller
 
Child bearing and 60. Angular contact double row radial thrust ball bearing combination, the rear support adopts radial thrust ball bearing. This configuration method greatly improves the comprehensive rigidity of the spindle, which can meet the requirements of strong cutting, and is generally used in the spindles of various CNC machine tools. This configuration of the rear bearing can also use cylindrical roller bearings, to further improve the radial rigidity of the rear bearing.
 
2. The front support adopts high precision double column orientation
 
Heart thrust ball bearings. ? CNC machine tool spindle bearing configuration? Centripetal thrust ball bearings have good high-speed performance, the maximum spindle speed can reach 4000r / min, but its bearing capacity is small, only suitable for high-speed, light-loaded and precision CNC machine tool spindle. In order to improve the rigidity of the main shaft in this configuration, the front support can be combined with four or more bearings, and the rear support can be combined with two bearings.
 
3. The front and rear bearings use double-row and single-row tapered roller bearings. These bearings can withstand large radial and axial forces, enabling the spindle to withstand heavy loads, especially strong dynamic loads. Good rigidity, good installation and debugging . However, this configuration limits the maximum speed and accuracy of the spindle, and is only suitable for medium precision, low speed and heavy-duty CNC machine tool spindles.
