Completely Remove TeamViewer 10
There’s been some very serious security incidents come to light in recent weeks. One of them is that updated TeamViewer users say their computers were hijacked and bank accounts emptied all while the software company's systems mysteriously fell offline. TeamViewer denies it has been hacked.
For more than a month, users of the remote login service TeamViewer have taken to Internet forums to report their computers have been ransacked by attackers who somehow gained access to their accounts. In many of the cases, the online burglars reportedly drained PayPal or bank accounts. No one outside of TeamViewer knows precisely how many accounts have been hacked, but there's no denying the breaches are widespread.
TeamViewer claims it isn’t a problem with its system, but rather with users’ individual credentials. It’s certainly possible — with the recent LinkedIn security breach, there’s millions of email/password combos in the wild, and people are notorious for re-using logins across different sites and services.
As TeamViewer is a widely spread software, many online criminals attempt to log in with the data gained from compromised accounts (obtained via the aforementioned vulnerable sources), in order to discover whether there is a corresponding TeamViewer account with the same credentials.
Accusations of a site being hacked have serious consequences. Many people are uninstalling TeamViewer and deserting their service.
