The TAQA (Training, Assessment, Quality Assurance) is a suite of qualifications. 1.    Understanding the principles as well as the practices of assessment

2.    Assessing the occupational competence of individuals within a work environment

3.    Assessing the vocational knowledge, skills and understanding of individuals

CAVA is considered to be a comprehensive qualification if you want to work as a certified assessor. It allows you to assess learners’ skills and knowledge within a workplace and learning environment. You also need to achieve CAVA qualification if you want to become a NVQ assessor.
