Complete Information for JEE Advanced 2016

It won’t be exaggerating to comment that every student who prepares for the engineering examination prepares himself for the JEE Advance examination no matter what he ends up doing. The stature of this examination is so high and sky rocketing. Joint Admission Board will be conducting the JEE Advance 2016 for the shortlisted candidates in the month of May 2016. The Application for the Advanced exam will be released after the JEE Main 2016 Score will be declared by the CBSE along with the cutoff.

Once the cutoff is released, the candidates get about 7 days to fill the Application form. The JEE Advanced 2016 would be conducted on 22nd May 2016 for which the Admit card will get released a week before the scheduling of the examination.  For appearing in the JEE Advanced 2016 , the candidates must appear in the JEE Main 2016 on the basis of which the candidates would be allowed to appear in the JEE Advanced Exam 2016. The candidates are selected on the basis of the cutoff score declared by the CBSE following the constitutional affirmation in account. Last year the JEE Main 2015 Cutoff stood at 107 above which the candidates were termed eligible to appear in the JEE Advanced.

The JAB will release the Application form on its website once CBSE declares the JEE Main 2016 score. The candidates will have to fill the Application form in a week. The Important dates of the JEE Advanced 2016 Exam is as follows:

  • Date of Commencement of Application procedure: by first week of 1st week of May 2016
  • Date of release of Admit Card: by 3rd week of May 2016
  • Date of JEE Advanced 2016: 22nd May 2016 (Tentative)
  • Display of scanned responses and ORS -  first week of June 2016
  • Display of answer Keys: 2nd week of June 2016
  • Declaration of JEE Advanced score and All India Rank: 3rd week of June 2016

For filling of the Application form, the candidates will have to access the website of JAB upon which they have to select the tab “Apply Now”. The candidates will then have to furnish the information like JEE Main Application number, CBSE Class 12th Roll Number and the name of the qualifying examination. Once furnished, the candidates will have to pay the sum of Rs.2000 towards the JEE Advance Application fee. Once paid, the candidate would get registered for the JEE Advanced 2016.
