Complete Exam Information for JEE Main 2016
Eligibility Criteria
- The eligibility criteria for the JEE Main 2016 Exam is laid down by the Central Board of Secondary Education.
- The candidate must have qualified the class 12th Board examination.
- All the candidates are allowed to attempt the JEE Main 3 times.
- The candidates in 12th class can also apply provided they pass the examination in 2016 before the admissions of the JEE Main.
Application Process
- The candidates who are eligible to apply for the JEE Main 2016 can do so online.
- The JEE Main 2016 Application form will be released online in November 2015.
- The candidates must visit the official website of the JEE Main to access the Application form.
- They will be required to first register themselves.
- Then they will be asked to enter their details in the application form.
- The candidates must fill in the information carefully and go through it once before clicking on ‘submit’.
- Once the form is filled the application fees has to be paid.
- The Application fee payment can be made online.
- The application for the JEE Main 2016 will only be successful after the payment of the fees.
- The application fees can be paid using the following means –
1. Credit card
2. Debit card
3. Internet banking
4. Bank challan

- JEE Main 2016 Application Form – November 2015
- Last date to apply for JEE Main 2016 – last week of December 2015
- JEE Main 2016 Admit cards – March 2016
- JEE Main 2016 Exam – April 2016
- JEE Main 2016 Scores – last week of April 2016
- JEE Main 2016 All India Rank – first week of July 2016
The JEE Main 2016 all India Rank will be released only after the 12th class board examination results have been announced. A number of non participating colleges also consider JEE Main scores for admissions. The All India JEE Rank is declared by the CBSE by giving 60% weightage to JEE Main scores and 40% to the candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination.
