COMEDK UGET 2014 ENTRANCE EXAM

COMEDK UGET 2014 entrance exam will be conducted by consortium of medical, engineering and dental college of Karnataka state. The candidates wanting to pursue dental, medical or engineering at undergraduate level can appear for this entrance exam of COMEDK UGET. The executive council has decided to conduct COMEDK UGET 2014 on 11 May 2014 i.e. Sunday. The aim of the council is to satisfy the triple test criteria of being fair, transparent and non- exploitative and ensure merit best admission through a single common entrance exam for the eligible and interested candidates of medical, engineering and dental. A single entrance exam of COMEDK will be conducted across the state of Karnataka.

COMEDK UGET 2014 Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have passed the qualifying exam i.e. class XII or second PUC from any recognized board or university.
• The applicant must have has Physics, chemistry and Maths subject at intermediate level and must have scored a minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST)
• The applicant must have has Physics and Maths in the compulsory subjects and the candidates with optional subject of Biology, Biotechnology and chemistry are eligible.
• The applicant with a diploma of 3 years with minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC, ST) is also eligible to apply for the exam.

COMEDK UGET 2014 Exam Pattern

• The exam will have two papers i.e. paper 1 and paper 2
• Paper 1 will be of chemistry and Physics with 120 questions in total and 60 each and the duration of time allotted to paper 1 is 120 minutes.
• Paper 2 will be of Maths subject individually and comprise of 60 questions and the time span is 60 minutes.
• There is no negative marking for any incorrect answer.
• The correct answer will fetch 1 mark
• In case, the candidate marks two options for any question, it will be considered wrong and unattended by the board.

COMEDK 2014 Application Form

The COMEDK 2014 application form will be available on the official website. The print out of the application form must be submitted along with the specified documents. The candidates appearing for Physics, Chemistry and Maths will have to pay Rs 900 as application fee. While, the candidates appearing for Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology paper will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1100.
