Chennai and Delhi square off in the Thursday encounter of Indian T20 League at Dubai. 

Team Preview 

Delhi gears up for the second assignment against Chennai in the 7^th game of the Indian T20 League. Delhi kicked off their campaign with a thrilling Super-over victory, thanks to Rabada’s outstanding bowling display and Punjab’s last-minute error with the bat. Delhi was not in good touch with the bat and it was Stoinis, who rescued Delhi to take them past 150. Meanwhile, Chennai also started their campaign with a 5-wickets victory over Mumbai in the season opener but they suffered a 16-runs defeat to Rajasthan in a high-scoring affair at Sharjah. The bowling unit looked mediocre in the previous game and the duo Chawla-Ngidi conceded more than 50 runs in their 4-overs spell. Faf tried to change the outcome in the chase but he didn’t get a similar effort from the other hand and Chennai lost the match. Both sides would aim to add two-points to top the table. Chennai is a dangerous side but for the first time, Delhi looks like a more balanced unit in UAE.

Pitch Report 

Dubai’s stadium is a good batting ground and it offers a good amount of runs in both innings. Spinners can also take advantage from the pitch later the match progress. Chasing would be an ideal call but any score above 180 will be a challenging total.
