Chardham – the most important Hindu religious path in the Himalayas, which is in Garhwal, Uttarakhand. Chardham comprises – Yamunotri, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Badrinath, situated at an elevation of 3235 m,3585 m, 3200m, 3300m above the sea level, respectively.

 

You can now cover one of the most widely acclaimed pilgrimages – a soul-enriching Chardham Yatra with comfort and ease by helicopter service. Set amongst the difficult mountainous terrain, and surrounded by snow-capped mountains and narrow trails, the Char Dham Yatra is physically and mentally taxing. There are several modes of transports introduced for the Char Dham yatra to make it convenient for the pilgrims. Along with the availability of dollis and pony rides, there are also chopper services that do not have the time and energy to make the journey on foot or other modes.

 

Tour Itinerary:

 

Day 01: Arrival at Dehradun: Arrive at Dehradun airport, from there transfer to a hotel in Dehradun or Haridwar as per your preference. Spend the rest of the day in a hotel relaxing and getting a good night’s sleep for an exciting next day.

 

Day 02: Dehradun – Kharsali: Report at the Helipad latest by 7:00 am. Transfer to Helipad at Sahastradhara, and then fly to Kharsali Helipad. Unload your baggage and check-in at a hotel. After relaxing get started on your trek, reserve a pony or palki for a further trek (5Km) to Yamunotri Dham. After the Darshan, you can pay a visit to the ancient Shani temple also. Return and have a soulful evening in Kharsali.

 

Day 03: Kharsali – Harsil: Departure from Kharsali Helipad to Harsil Helipad. Enter the mini-Switzerland of India, Gangotri. After checking in a hotel and relaxing turn yourself to a high altitude and enjoy the picturesque paradise on Earth – Gangotri Dham. After the Darshan of Gangotri Ji, you can stay overnight in Harsil and enjoy the Himalayan retreat.

 

Day 04: Harsil – Phata: Early morning departure from Harsil helipad to Phata Helipad. At Phata you will get welcomed by the religious zest, natural peace, and snow-capped peaks of Kedarnath. You will have to change choppers from Phata for Kedarnath. After the darshan of Kedarnath Ji head back to Phata where you can enjoy the overnight stay in luxury cottages and villas.

 

Day 05: Phata – Badrinath: Flying from Phata Helipad to Badrinath Helipad to visit Badrinath Ji. After the darshan, you can spend an hour in the Mana village near Badrinath and then end your day with a comfortable stay and delectable dinner.

 

Day 06: Badrinath – Dehradun: Badrinath Helipad to Sahastradhara Helipad. Final Departure.

 

Chardham Tour Guide:

 

  • Maximum 5-6 passengers allowed in one helicopter.

 

  • Maximum permission is 5 kg of luggage per passenger.

 

  • Carry a first aid kit.

 

  • Only carry handbags as suitcases, and trolly bags are not allowed.
