Verification from issued Departments

For virtually all papers, the verification procedure must begin at the point of origin, such as universities, boards, departments, and institutes, before submitting them for HRD Attestation. After submitting the original certificates to the State HRD attestation department, several State HRD attestation departments are requesting certificate verification.

HRD Attestation or Attestation from the Indian Ministry of Human Resource Development:

After the initial certificate verification, HRD Authentication or Attestation from the Human Resources Development Department is the following step. The appropriate State HRD attestation department of the concerned state, from whence the papers are issued, is responsible for HRD certification of certificates. Other states are unable to provide HRD attestation.

Attestation from (MEA):

MEA attestations is authorized for the following round of certificate attestation. There are two types of attestations provided by the Ministry of External Affairs: (1) MEA Attestation and (2) Apostille Attestation.

Attestation from an embassy or a consulate:

The certificates are sent to the embassy of the nation to which you wish to go once they have been verified, HRD'd, and MEA'd. They will authenticate and verify the certifications. For some countries, consulate attestation will suffice instead of embassy attestation. Attestation by an embassy or consulate must be obtained from the country where the documents were issued.
