Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the National Eligibility Test (NET) twice a year on the behalf of University Grants Commission. These tests are conducted firstly in the month of June and the second will be conducted in the month of December. The first exam has been successfully conducted and the official notification for the exam to be conducted in the month of December will be released by CBSE in September 2015. This exam helps the candidate in achieving eligibility for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship or both. For both the exams, CBSE will announce the CBSE NET Cut Off 2015. CBSE NET 2015 Cut Off: Criteria
The qualifying criteria and Cut Off for CBSE NET 2015 for this exam are decided by CBSE. These percentage of marks vary from each and every particular subject for Assistant fellowship and JRF. In order to get a place in the merit list, one has to clear the basic qualifying marks. All the appearing candidate need to score separately in all the three papers.
Quoting previous year’s criteria:
In the year 2014, the category wise CBSE NET cut off for considering a candidate for JRF and eligibility for Assistant Professor. The minimum set of marks with respect to different categories are as follows:
1. GENERAL:
For paper I and II, 40% minimum marks which should be obtained in order to qualify. For paper III, 50% of the marks should be obtained.
2. OBC (Non-Creamy layer)/PWD/SC/ST:
For paper I and II, 35% minimum marks which should be obtained in order to qualify.For paper III, 40% of the marks should be obtained.
In each UGC-NET, there are at least 3200 fellowships that are provided by the commission.according to the reservation policy of Indian Government, a minimum of 27%, 7.5%, 15% and 3% of Fellowships are reserved for OBC, ST, SC & PWD candidates.
The candidates, after estimating their marks through CBSE NET cut off 2015 can check their result just by entering few basic but necessary details such as date of birth, roll number & application number. The link to check the result will be soon updated after it is announced officially.
