CBSE NET 2015 Exam All Details Here
The official notification of CBSE NET exam conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education will be released tentatively in the first week of October 2015. The CBSE NET 2015 exam aims at providing eligibility to candidates either only for Assistant professor or for both Junior Research Fellowship & for Assistant Professor. The following exam is conducted two times in a year, firstly in the month of June and secondly in the month of December. CBSE NET 2015 Eligibility Criteria:
Before applying for CBSE NET, the candidate must be well aware abut the eligibility conditions set by the board. Few of the criteria are given below:
1. The applicant must have either completed or must be pursuing a UGC specified master’s degree so as to be considered eligible with at least 55% marks.
2. In case of candidates belonging reserved categories such as SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL/ PwD category, the minimum required marks will be 50%.

Age limit & experience:
1. The calculation of age limit shall be done on 01 June 2015
2. For JRF or Junior Research Fellowship-
a.The upper age limit for the applicant is 28 years.
b.Only the candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted a relaxation of 05 years.
c.As per the CBSE NET Eligibility Criteria, Candidates having experience in the relevant field or subject need to provide the supporting certificate from the appropriate authority.
d.For candidates having an L.L.M Degree, University Grants Commission also permits a 03 year relaxation in the upper age limit.
3.For Lecturer-ship-
To gain eligibility for Assistant Professor or Lecturer-ship, there is no such age limit prescribed for candidates
CBSE NET Application Form:
Once you have satisfied all the eligibility conditions, you can now fill the CBSE NET application form. The whole filling process requires uploading the scanned images of passport size photograph and signature and paying the application fees will complete the whole process.
Examination fees:
1) Examination fee is Rs.600/- for the general category candidate while it is Rs.300/- in case of OBC candidates
2) The fee of Rs.150/- is applicable to SC/ST/PwD candidates.
CBSE NET Admit Card 2015: The admit card for CBSE NET can only be downloaded from the official website. The admit card will be released either in the last or first week of November/December 2015.
CBSE NET December 2015 Exam Pattern: There will be 03 papers in total that will be conducted in Morning, Forenoon and Afternoon sessions in the month of December 2015. Only objective or multiple choice type questions will e asked in all the papers. The detailed description of ll the three papers is mentioned below:
1. In Paper I: This is a general paper with questions based on general awareness carrying 100 marks for 60 questions. Out of these 60 questions, candidates need to attempt 50 questions.
2. Paper II: There are only 50 questions and each of them weighs for 02 marks. The questions asked will be based on the subjects selected by the candidate.
3. Paper III – This paper will comprise of 75 Objective type questions which are based on the selective subject of the candidate.
CBSE NET December 2015 Result
The declaration of CBSE NET December Result 2015 entirely depends on the performance shown by the candidate in all the three papers of the CBSE NET exam. It is necessary for the candidate to get marks in the ratio of 40:40:75 and 35:35:60 for candidates belonging to reserved categories in each of the three papers separately. The board will prepare a subject-wise & category-wise merit list which will will consider the aggregate marks of the candidate in all the 03 papers. Those who manages to remain in the top 15% candidates by performing well and scoring good marks will have their names enlisted in the merit list for each subject and category. Such candidates whose name fall in the list will be declared qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only. The board will prepare a separate merit list to award JRF and the list will be prepared from & amongst those who qualify the CBSE NET 2015 exam. If any candidate exclusively qualify for the post of Assistant Professor shall not be considered for the award of JRF. That’s why, it is necessary for the candidates to specify each and everything clearly while applying for both JRF and eligibility for Assistant Professor or for eligibility for Assistant Professor only.
