Captain America Has Arrived on Fortnite

Captain America has just landed on Fortnite. Yes, you heard it right. Fortnite has just added Captain America skin on Fortnite as a surprise for its players on 4 July, and they can purchase it using their V-Bucks.

The game publisher (Epic Games) has announced the addition of Captain America’s skin on their battle royal game Fortnite by releasing a cinematic trailer of the same on twitter. In the trailer, Captain arrives into the Fortnite through Bifrost. The trailer is really amazing. You must watch it.

How much does it cost?

The player can buy the skin using 2,000 V-bucks ($20) through the Fortnite in-game store. Besides the skin, you also get to use and wear Captain America’s Shield as you fight your opponents in the game. It’s not the first time Captain America had appeared on Fortnite. He had appeared in the game last year when it was released by the company as a special item when they released the special Avengers theme mode for their players. But now the Cap has finally arrived to stay. The skin looks to be inspired by Captain America comics and not by Captain America in the Marvel movies, and it appears that the company has dedicated lots of time and effort to add minor details on the skin.

What else do you get?

If you think you can only purchase Captain America skin on Fortnite, then we got a surprise for you. Yes, you heard it right. In addition to skin, the company has also released a special “Grand Salute” emote for their players too that they can purchase using 300 V-Bucks. Using Captain America emote, the player can stand in Salute position while the fireworks are being launched behind them in the air. Captain America is not the only Marvel character that has arrived on the land of Fortnite. Characters like X-Force, Deadpool, and other Avengers like Star-Lord and Black Widow had also made their debut in the game earlier.
