Later on completion of surgery, stitches were applied in incisions and bandaged. I was shifted to recovery room and later shifted to my room after few hours. I was asked to stay overnight to rule out any possibility of complication and next morning, I was discharged with prescribed medication.

During follow-up visit after a week, the stitches were removed. I was asked to refrain from lifting heavy items or perform heavy duty physical activities for another 4 to six weeks. My surgeon also advised me to avoid sex for at least 6 weeks.

Today even after 3 years of a successful tubal ligation surgery in India, I am completely healthy and free from stress of pregnancies. I am thankful to doctors in India for performing my tubal ligation surgery with utmost skill and efficiency.
