According to their updated Frontier Airlines travel policy 2021, the airline will charge you a flight change fee if any of the following apply (unless you have a WORKS plan ticket):

• If you modify your basic ticket between 59.99 and 7 days prior to departure, the airline will impose a modification fee of USD 39 per passenger, one way. The airline will save the value of your ticket as a travel credit (less any amendment or cancellation costs).

• If you make any changes to your standard ticket six days or less before departure, a change fee of USD 59 per passenger one way will be assessed (including the same day). The airline will save the value of your ticket as a travel credit (fewer cancellation fees).

• Flyers will be required to pay USD 99 as a change fee if they modify an award ticket seven days or less before departure. The price won't be charged if you purchase an award ticket between December 22, 2020, and March 31, 2021.

• One free change per ticket issued between August 31 and September 30, 2020, must be made at least seven days prior to travel.
