“Caged No More” Actress Madelon Curtis Plays Madame To Raise Awareness Of Human Trafficking

“Caged No More” is a feature film raising awareness about human
trafficking. It’s mission is to connect anti-trafficking organizations,
equip parents, schools and churches to aid in prevention, and assist in
eradicating trafficking. Starring Emmy-Award winner Loretta Devine
(Grey’s Anatomy), Kevin Sorbo (Hercules), Alan Powell (The Song), and
Cassidy Gifford (God’s Not Dead), this film also features Madelon Curtis
as the vicious “Madame”. Madelon is known for her extensive work in the
worlds of theatre and dance, as well as her appearances in cult horror
classics like “Jason Goes to Hell: the Final Friday”. “Caged No More” is
from the co-producers of “God’s Not Dead” and has already won Best
Feature at the La Femme Film Festival in Beverly Hills.
Offering
a variety of talents and skills, Madelon Curtis is a dancer, singer,
choreographer, and a trilingual actress. In “Caged No More”, her
villainous character intimidates and entices in both English and in
Greek.
“It was so exciting working with wonderful people on a
film that will surely bring much awareness to the frightening subject of
human trafficking.” said Curtis, when reflecting on her work in the
award-winning film.
Inspired by real events, “Caged No More” is
about a grandmother’s quest to rescue her granddaughters, who have been
kidnapped to be sold into the terrifying world of sex slavery. The film
is meant to educate audiences on the realities of the world’s fastest
growing global crime. “Caged No More” was filmed on location in Baton
Rouge, LA and Athens, Greece.
Curtis will be making an appearance in support of the film at the Albuquerque Film and Music Experience on April 21st 2016.
