Caesarean or Normal Delivery? All you need to know!

Pregnancy occurs when a sperm from one partner fertilizes the egg which is released during ovulation in another partner. Caesarean delivery also called caesarean section (C-section) is the process of delivering the foetus surgically. This method is opted for when vaginal delivery poses harm towards the parent or baby’s health. This method has three stages to it- 1) stage of contractions, 2) birth of offspring and 3) delivery of the following placenta. Vaginal delivery exhibits long periods of contractions which increase eventually resulting in the descent of the baby and followed by it, the clamping of the umbilical cord.
