‘Burger-ing’ the right way!

by Rajni Gaur Web Content Writer

There is barely anything that crosses the mind when you suddenly wake up, consciously though, to the howls and growls in the stomach—except for a decadent burger with a gracious filling of meat and mayonnaise creepily melting in your mouth.

Burgers, yes. Nothing, absolutely nothing can beat that lingering sense of satisfaction that one gets on nibbling that one, big, gigantically cheesy burger gives. Our outrageous love for burgers and stuff has resulted into the manifestation of hefty burger joints selling off heftier burgers at even more outrageously exorbitant rates. Places like Smoke House Deli, though, gratefully refrain from pinching the pockets, but consider the other popular outlets, a tiny burger at which would make you feel you just had huddled it up for yourself.

There are times when you’d rather just sneak a look into your refrigerator, or probably rummage through the kitchen, OR just walk up to the nearby market and get some buns, meat and butter—and there!

Of whatever the ruckus that is brewed out of making burgers a lavish affair, I would like to make a point—burgers are, and should always remain a simple affair. They should be appetizing, of course. Simply appetizing, though!

Throw a look at the ways you can make burgers a ‘simply appetizing’ food, right in your kitchen. Read on—we have everything you need, particularly what you want—the best burgers in Delhi

First things first. For a meaty, juicy burger, choose the right meat. No, just any meat from just any other store would not do. Make sure that you buy the meat from a shop you trust. This particularly goes for ground meat that is often spilled and smeared with chemicals for a greater shelf life. Always buy meat of any variety from a trusted store.

Talking about cuts, let’s act a little sane by not simply drinking in what magazines and TV shows throw at us. You don’t need a custom blend of fancy cuts to make a good hamburger. In fact, you don’t need any cuts at all. Grind the meat yourself for a better flavour, and to retain the nutrition and fat.

Coming on to condiments, let’s be a little wise, a little economical. While we don’t flinch a bit whilst spilling condiments at pizzas, burgers, even in the most insane forms of preparation, don’t deserve that. Don’t work salt and pepper into the patty, just season it on both sides before putting it on the grill.
