has come to India. With its office in Lower Parel, Mumbai the brand has many
competitors. The first outlet in India was opened in Delhi and then followed by
Mumbai at Phoenix Mills. There will be a dozen Burger King outlets in Mumbai
and Delhi, as the fast food chain has large expansion plans in India.
With other Western quick service restaurants such as
McDonald’s and KFC, Subway and Domino’s Pizza, Crisil Research estimates the
market will grow further in future. Burger
King in Mumbai will look for ways to penetrate the smaller towns to gain
hold in the market. As there are two developing countries China and India the
brand is eyeing these two countries. Moreover, it is also planning to expand
across the country not only in the smaller towns but also in big metropolitan
cities.

As there are not many stores of Burger King in Mumbai yet, in future the brand will become present in most neighbourhoods that come in the range of pocket-friendly family restaurants.
