BSF Recruitment 2020 - The Border Security Force (BSF) has announced a notification to fill up vacancies of Group ‘A’ various posts in BSF Air Wing, Pilot, Engineer, and Logistics Officer. Candidates who are serving or have retired from Ministries/ Departments of Government of India/ State Govt./Public Sector Undertakings are eligible to apply for Group ‘A’ posts in BSF Recruitment 2020.

The candidates have to send their application forms in offline mode till 31st December 2020

Eligibility Criteria

• Engineer: Appearing candidates must be a holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License in any two categories of Avionics Stream (E,I and R) or Holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License in categories Air Frame and Engine in Mechanical Stream; and total aircraft maintenance experience of fifteen years including ten years as Aircraft Maintenance Engineer preferably with experience on Border Security Force type of Aircraft or Helicopter (As prescribed from time to time as per requirements)
• For Ex-servicemen
• Deputation/re-employment: The Armed Forces Personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite experience and qualifications as prescribed at I(A) or (B) above shall also be considered and such persons shall be given deputation term up to the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces: thereafter they may be continued on re-employment.
• Re-employment: The retired Armed Force personnel possessing qualifications and experience as prescribed at I(A) or (B) above and held an analogous or equivalent post in the Armed Forces of the Union and the break-in service should not be more than two years.
• Commandant (Pilot): Officers under the Central Government or the State Government or public Undertaking holding analogous posts or with five years regular service in the grade of pay Level 12 (Rs. 78800-209200) with 15 years Group A service and possessing qualifications and experience as Current Commercial Pilot’s License or Commercial Helicopter Pilot’s License Category with Current Flight Radio Telephone Operators License or Current Military Flying Category B/Green rating with medically fit flying on Border Security Force type of Helicopter and
• Current Instrument Rating
• Total flying experience of 1000 hours
• Second-in-Command (Pilot): Officers under the Central Government or the State Government or public Undertaking holding analogous posts or with five years regular service in the grade of Level-11 (Rs. 67700-208700) in the pay matrix and eleven years Group A service and possessing qualifications and experience as Current Commercial Pilot’s License or Commercial Helicopter Pilot’s License Category with Current Flight Radio Telephone Operators License or Current Military Flying Category B/Green or C/Green rating with medically fit flying on Border Security Force type of Helicopter and
• Current Instrument Rating
• Total flying experience of 750 hours
• Deputy Commandant (Pilot): Officers under the Central Government or the State Government or public Undertaking holding analogous posts in Level -11 in the pay matrix (Rs. 67700-208700) or with five years regular service in the level 10 in the pay matrix (Rs. 56100-177500) and possessing qualifications and experience as specified as Graduate with current Commercial Pilot’s License or Commercial Helicopter Pilot’s License Category with current Flight Radio Telephone Operator’s License and current Instrument Rating; or Current military flying category B Green or C Green rating with medical fit flying on Border Security Force type of Aircraft of Helicopter and Total flying experience of 200 hrs.

Age Limit

• The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed fifty-two years on the date of receipt of application.

Selection Process

• The selection of candidates to 'Group A' Combatised posts through BSF Recruitment 2020 will be done based on the candidates' performance in the Written Test/Practical Test, Medical Examination and Document Verification
