After the registration, the profile gets a score based on various factors. The profile stays in the selection pool for a period of 12 months or until the an invitation is issued.

c.       Job location in BC

d.      Work experience

e.      Education

f.        English Language proficiency

 

ii.                   Invitation – Invitations are issued to the candidates who fulfill the factors and suit the preferences of BC immigrations. An invitation will be issued asking the aspirant to apply for BC nomination. However, an invitation does not mean the nomination will be granted.

iii.                  Application – After the invitation is received the aspirant will have to submit the application through BCPNP online. The application should be supported by the required documents.

iv.                 After the application is accepted and processed, confirmation of nomination is issued. The applicant will have to apply for work permit and post-nomination requests on BCPNP online.

v.                   The applicant who has received the nomination can proceed to apply for Canada PR with IRCC.

British Columbia also works with Express Entry System to get the right profiles under its belt. It follows the same protocol as the rest of the provinces while working with Express Entry profiles. BC invites Entrepreneurs to invest in the province.
