Emma Leigh Eatmon of Middlesex and Brandon Tyler Boswell of Black Creek were married June 20 in a 3 p. m. ceremony at Peace Church in Wilson. The Rev. Brian Tippett officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Wanda Boyle of Middlesex and Bennie and Tonia Eatmon of Rocky Mount. She is the granddaughter of Joyce Peele of Middlesex and the late Russell Peele, and the late E.J. and Margaret Eatmon of Bailey. She graduated from Wilson Christian Academy and Pitt Community College with a degree in medical assisting. She is a CMA with Horizon Family Medicine.

The groom is the son of Bobby and Lynn Godwin of Black Creek and Rob and Lynne Boswell of Sims. He is the grandson of Linda Pittman of Wilson and the late Robert Lee Pittman, and Robert and Sallie Boswell of Wilson. He graduated from Wilson Christian Academy and Wilson Community College with a degree in mechanical engineering. He works with Petroleum Equipment Services.

The bride was escorted by her father and mother, Bennie Eatmon and Wanda Peele Boyle. She wore a sheath silhouette wedding gown of ivory Guipure lace over satin. The jewel-shaped sheer lace front neckline featured a sweetheart satin underlay and sheer lace straps that flowed into a low scoop back neckline which tapered to pearl buttons. The lace of the gown, including the sweep train, was finished with scallop borders. For her headpiece, she chose an ivory tulle fingertip veil with folded silk trim and a slipper cut bottom. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white hydrangea, white roses, coral roses, yellow mini spray roses and greenery.

Matron of honor was Kari Davis Craig. Bridesmaids were Rebecca Joyner and Madison Wheeler Webb. They wore coral chiffon, knee-length, A-line dresses fashioned with one shoulder and a natural belted waist. Flower girl was Kinsley Allen.

Best man was Bert Boswell, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Rob Boswell, father of the groom, and Will Slaughter, cousin of the bride. Ring bearer was Brayden Boswell, nephew of the groom.

Wedding music was presented by Andrew Gardner Webb, instrumentalist, and Kevin and Karen Hill, vocalists. Register attendants were Katie Forrest, Meredith Skinner and Taylor Skinner.

A reception at The Bluegrass Barn followed the ceremony. Hosts were Robert and Wanda Boyle and Bennie and Tonia Eatmon.

On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents, Bobby and Lynn Godwin, were hosts for a rehearsal dinner at Peace Church.Read more at:white prom dresses
