Blue Sapphire Gemstone: Rules And Rituals For Wearing A Blue Sapphire

Step 1

Concern with an experienced Astrologer whether or not Blue Sapphire (Neelam) suits you. Wearing a gemstone that does not suit you, bring changes in your natural energy fields and wearing a non suitable gemstone can be harmful.

Step 2

Buy Blue Sapphire on Saturday. Blue Sapphire may also be purchased from any astrologer or you can buy it online from certified suppliers. After buying, you need to stud stone with a ring.

Step 3

The ring should be set in Panchdhatu (gold,silver, lead, iron, and copper) and the stone mounted in an open backed ring so that it can touch the finger. The weight of the Blue Sapphire should be not be less than 1 carat. Stone should be in between  5 to 7 carats.

Step 4

Sit facing West on a black asana. Keep the ring immersed in raw cow’s milk. Then wash it with Ganga – water or water kept in a copper pot overnight. After it has been washed, keep the ring on a black cloth on which a Saturn Yantra is drawn with red sandalwood paste, rice paste or roli.

Step 5

Offer flowers, incense to the yantra and the Blue Sapphire and chant the following mantra 108 times:

Aum Sham Shanaishcharaye Namah Aum or "Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya"

Step 6

Wear the ring.
