BLEPHAROPLASTY AN OVERVIEW

PHYSICAL HEALTH: - Your overall health should be good and free of any active disease. And, one should also make his surgeon aware of any allergies he/she has and what medications are taken by them for such allergies.

And, as far as the procedure is concerned, it happens in four stages:-
PREPARATION: - The surgeon will mark the areas upon your eye to indicate where the incisions will be performed.
ANASTHESIA: - Usually, local anesthesia is used around your eyes to make the muscles relaxed and then the surgeon will make you fully anesthetized before the surgery.
PROCEDURE: - The procedures applicable will take place. After the completion the surgeon will put lubricating ointments in the eyes.
RECOVERY: - After the procedure is done, you will be monitored for the next 02 hours, as you might feel pain, discomfort, nausea or cold. Medications will be provided accordingly. You would have to be patient as it would take some time to recover and also the emotions which you are going through will pass.
