by Shell Pride Academy Professional Nanny Course

Want to immigrate to Canada but you are confused where to start? This is not only your problem, we are with you. There are so many immigration programs and visas, by which you can choose your path easily. They are having their own set of requirements, which makes the application process quite immense.

Work Visa

The work visa is the easiest way to immigrate to Canada for some reasons. Nanny Training Program is one of the programs which come under the direct work visa. The processing time in Nanny Work Visa is little less and you don’t need a specific Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score to qualify. Currently, you don't require a Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).

Before international applicants can apply for the job, an LMIA is required by employers' side to post a job ad for a minimum 3 months. In Nanny Program, if your work permit expires you can simply renew it 30 days before and you can apply online too.

You can apply for the Permanent Residency, once you are having enough work experience in Nanny Job. This could be anywhere from 6 months, for example through the Day care school, Elder care, Primary School, Clinic, Hospital or any area related to Nanny Course or Caregiver Program.

Requirements

Anyone can apply for a Nanny Work Permit as soon as they meet with the basic requirements to enter Canada, first of all a person must have enough knowledge of their chosen field and secondly they must have good communication skills. Canada doesn't require bands in IELTS for Nannies but that doesn't mean you can enter with zero communication skills. Now jump to another part, people who have good health and do not have a criminal record and can prove that they intend to leave once their Nanny Work permit expires.

Employee will also need:

  • Job offer (if applying for a Nanny employer-specific permit)
  • LMIA(unless exempt)
  • Apply online from outside Canada
  • Submit a complete application
  • Include a medical examination
  • Include Legal verification
  • Include all the certified translations of documents
  • Pay the processing fees

The average processing time is totally depending on where you are applying for Nanny Work permit. It will take about 5 weeks to 39 weeks, but mostly the average processing time for most countries is 10 weeks (2½ months).
