Best Blackjack Casino Games Strategies For Difference Scenarios

by Diksha Sharma Blogger and writer

Blackjack is well-known as one of the casino games where players have the best odds of winning. Although winning is quiet far from guaranteed, and inexperienced players are much more likely to lose compared to the ones using time-tested casino games strategies.

One of the most overlooked things about playing blackjack is betting. The biggest challenge that the new players face is adapting their methods as the game continues. The game changes every time a hand is dealt, that is why one must know which strategies work under certain circumstances when one plays blackjack. Here are some guidelines that one wants to keep in mind:

 Progressive Betting Strategies

One may have a great blackjack casino game strategy (or one may get lucky), but this doesn’t mean that every hand will be a winner. Betting one’s entire budget on a single hand is never a good option. So let’s get this way, right off the bat – don’t change the hands based on previous outcomes. Some players use a progressive betting strategy that they’ll either increase or decrease their bets after each winning hand. There are many theories behind both a positive and negative progressive betting strategy, but the reality is that one could always wind up with a bad deal on the next hand.

 Soft 17

A soft 17 is a hand which includes a six and an ace. Most people know that they must always hit on this hand because they don’t think they have to worry about getting over. The worst scenario is that one dealt five-card and have to start over again from 12. Often most people don’t change their bet. Since one has a solid chance of winning on a soft 17, it’s a good idea to double down to increase the possible winnings.

 Hard 17

A hard 17 is a hand that adds up to 17 without an ace. If one hits on this hand, they have around 69% chance of going over 21, which means that their safest bet – in this instance – is to hold.

 Dealer Has an Ace

One must never double down if the dealer has an ace card up. The dealer has a higher probability of winning with an ace on the table, regardless of the hand, one is currently playing.

 If Hand is a 10 or 11

One has the best odds of winning when their hand is a 10 or 11. These are usually good times to double down, but try to keep the following considerations in mind: If one is playing an 11, they should always double down unless the dealer card is an ace.

If one is playing a 10, they should double down unless the dealer is sitting on ace or a 10.

 Playing a Nine

If the first two cards add up to nine, one may still want to double down. Although, odds of winning aren’t as good as they would be if their two cards added up to a 10 or 11. One should only double down if the dealer card is a 3 through 6. As, they have a better chance of getting close to 21 without going over, in which case is doubling down wouldn’t be a good move.

 Playing an Eight or Lower

There’s no way of knowing how the game is going to turn out if one’s first two cards add up to an eight or lower, so it’s better not to double down at this stage in the game.

The above-mentioned blackjack casino game tips/strategies will help one to understand and play the game in a better way. Make sure to keep these strategies in mind.
