To avoid these risks there are certain precautions which need to be taken : 

AVOID ALCOHOL: Alcohol increases the risk of dehydration so one must avoid drinking alcohol before a sauna.

OVERUSE OF SAUNA: One should not spend more than 20 minutes in the sauna in one go. First-time uses should not take more than 5 to 10 minutes. 

DRINK PLENTY OF WATER BEFORE SAUNA: one should drink plenty of water before taking a sauna. As it will reduce the risk of dehydration. 

AVOID IF YOU ARE ILL: People with any kind of illness should avoid sauna until they recover fully.
