Education needed to become a sports coach

You would need to do a course in coaching science from a reputed fitness and sports college in South Africa, if you want to work as a sports coach. In case you want to work as a sports coach for a middle-level school or a high-school, then you should consider meeting the educational requirements of a school teacher. You may alternatively consider doing a certificate in sports coaching or obtaining a qualification in sports such as a diploma in sports coaching. In very few cases, a sports coach may have to have prior work experience along with a sports qualification or a sports coaching course. Career advancement for coaches
