Do you know you can use images as the background of your Instagram stories? Have you ever thought of its possibility? For your information, you cannot only change the background color of Instagram stories, but you can also add images from your camera roll when you share a new story. 

Here's how to do it

1. Select the post want to share in Instagram story

2. Tap the sticker icon (smiley face with rounded edges on the upper right-hand side of your screen)

3. Select the "Add from camera roll" sticker from the stickers tray. 

4. Browse through your photos to select the one to use as your Instagram story background

5. Move the feed post to one side of your screen

6. Pinch the added images with two fingers to expand the size. 

 7. Bring the original feed post to the front by using your thumb to tap and hold. 

That's it. You've just added an image as the background of your Instagram story. 

2. How to Add More Color to Instagram Stories

Do you know you can use a color that's not available in Instagram stories' default color library? 

When using Instagram stories, there's a limitation to the number of colors you can find in the default color library. That doesn't mean you can show off your brand color on Instagram stories. Even if you can’t find it in the default options.

1. Open Instagram stories and select the draw tool (the spiral line on the upper right-hand corner of your screen)

2. Tap the draw tool to reveal the default color options 

3. Long-hold any of the colors to open the custom color selection slider. 

4. Browse the color selector to choose the custom color you want for your story. 

3. How to Change Your Instagram Stories Background Color?

You already know how to create Instagram stories, let's share with you how to make those stories more stunning

1. Create your Instagram story (photo or video)

2. Locate and tap the draw tool in the upper right corner of your screen to choose a color

3. Hold the screen for up to 3 seconds, the background color will change to your selected color. 

NOTE: 

v  If you share a feed post to the story, the color will be filled behind the story. 

v  But if the content of your story is new, the color will be filled above the story (photo or video)

v  Don't worry, you can use the eraser tool (on the upper right-hand corner of your screen) to reveal the part of the underlying story (photo or video).
