Back to school campaign by Akshaya Patra

The Akshaya Patra Foundation is one of the oldest mid-day meal NGO in India. With the vision, “No child in India shall be deprived of education because of hunger’, Akshaya Patra has been serving nutrition-rich meals to children in government schools since the past 18 years.

The mid-day meal is a strong determinant for children from challenging backgrounds to attend school. Hence, Akshaya Patra conducts the ‘Back to School Campaign’ annually with the aim to support regular schooling and expand its operations to benefit many more children with wholesome meals.
