James Cameron is using the deleted scene from Avatar in the upcoming Avatar 2. Avatar is an American science fiction movie written, directed, produced, and co-edited by James Cameron. It stars Zoe Saldana, Stephen Lang, Sam Worthington, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sigourney Weaver. The film uses 3D technology for filming the whole movie. Avatar was the highest-grossing movie of all time until a decade later Avengers: Endgame released.
The film is set in the 22nd century when the human species are colonizing in Pandora. The expansion of the mining colony disturbs the other species called humanoid indigenous to Pandora. The idea of the movie was conceived in 1994, and it took over a decade to prepare and release the film on 10 December 2009. Now after a decade, Cameron is preparing multiple sequels of the franchise, and the second installment is Avatar 2, which is scheduled to be released in 2022. The sequel will pick up after a gap of several years. Jake Sully is a Na’vi, and starting a family with Neytiri, they have a daughter together. The upcoming sequel has few original members from the previous one including Britain Dalton as the middle child Lo’ak, Jamie Flatters as the oldest son Neteyam, and Trinity Bliss as the young daughter Tuktirey. Avatar was initially set up for the growing Sully family, and the development of the film is naturally given passage of time.

Jake was discussing “new life” and was teasing Neytiri’s pregnancy by touching her belly. This is the highlighting of the sequence with noticeably pregnant Na’vi women and children throughout. Avatar 2 is Cameron will direct the upcoming sequel of the franchise along with a few original cast the team introduced some new actors including Kate Winslet, Vin Diesel, Michelle Yeoh, Brendan Cowell, Cliff Curtis, Jemaine Clement, and many more. The sequel was planned to release in 2014. Still, due to some technical problems the team needed to prepare advanced technology to shoot the underwater sequences much effectively, and hence it is delayed until now. The filming of the movie started on 15 August in Manhattan Beach, California, and the team simultaneously shot some sequences from Avatar 3.
However, the scene from Avatar did not make it to the final cut, but it shows that Cameron has some plans regarding it. The development of Avatar 2 and the subsequent sequels have been delayed several times. However, the scenes show his clear vision for the future franchise.
The family of Neytiri and Jake will be a big part of the sequel. However, the team and other people associated with the project are hesitating to reveal anything about the franchise. But producer Jon Landau specifically said earlier that the sequel would be all about family. The family plot seems to have significant involvement of Lo’ak, Neteyam, Tuktirey into the story. Fans are very excited to see the franchise’s sequel after a decade.
