Auto-move attachment from Outlook message to network drive/folder?

by Anderson Lieto IT Experts

 still don’t understand VBS (yet!), is there somewhere I have to “turn on” this script? I only edited the Subject and Save to field for testing (do I need to edit anything else?):

Change variables to match need.

If (Msg.Subject = “Testing 123”) And _
(Msg.Attachments.Count >= 1) Then

‘Set folder to save in.
Dim olDestFldr As Outlook.MAPIFolder
Dim myAttachments As Outlook.Attachments
Dim Att As String

‘location to save in. Can be root drive or mapped network drive.
Const attPath As String = “C:\TEST”

1. Hit ALT+F11 in Outlook

2. Double clicked “ThisOutlookSession”

3. Pasted entire code w/ changes above

4. Clicked Save — closed VBS Window

5. Sent test e-mail to myself with “Testing 123” as the subject, with PDF attachment, don’t see the file in the C:\TEST location.

Probably missing something simple here! See there
