Australia is a beautiful country and has a swarm of opportunities for all those who would want to work and grow. Australia, to provide the best possible skilled professionals for all of the job requirements that are currently open in the country, has come up with different streams of immigrations. The purpose of many streams is simply to cater to different needs of skilled professionals.

Of all these streams Australia has introduced, Sub Class 189 (Skilled Independent Visa) is the most prominent. This stream allows all those skilled professionals without any nomination or work offer to move to Australia on their own accord. For any stream, it is important for the skilled professional to submit his/her expression of Interest into skill select portal. Most of the streams will need the application to be submitted into the skill select portal just as the 189 VISA Application forms. The skilled professional, when he/ she earns this program are eligible to live, study and work in any part of Australia. They have the right to choose their employer in Australia. For all of these visa programs, the applicant earns Australian Permanent Residency VISA.

This visa is a multi-entry visa with which the applicant can travel to and fro any number of times. The person with Australian PR Visa is eligible for applying Australian Citizenship within 4 years of entering Australia. A person holding Australian PR Visa will have the right to sponsor any relative or friend of theirs who are eligible to enter Australia. He/she will have the right to sponsor their parents too to move  to Australia either on short term basis or long term basis. Australia is country with varied climatic conditions and has regions that are considered sub-urban areas. The country is one of the richest countries in the world and thus it provides the best living conditions for its citizens and residents there. This is applicable to any other stream too, including Australia Sub Class 190 (Skilled Nominated Visa). The Australia Sub Class 190 VISA process is more or less the same, although it requires the applicant to hold a nomination from an employer of Australia or a nomination from one of the states of Australia. Such a nomination leads the applicant to obtain his /her Australian PR.

In the skill select portal, the applications or profiles are processed based on 5 factors. And each of the profile needs to earn a minimum of 65 points against 100 points to qualify for further processing. This score can go down for few streams other than the two mentioned above. Like for 491 Skilled Work Regional Visa which requires the skilled professional to score 60 points against 100. However, this program needs the skilled professional will need to live and work for an employer who is from regional Australia and not in the main cities.
