Australia PR Points Calculator: Criteria for Skilled Workers Seeking Permanent Residenceby Visa Consultant Immigration Expert
The Skilled Independent Visa (Subclass 189) and Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190) are the most common pathways for pursuing skilled work in Australia as a permanent resident. Both of these are points-tested visas i.e. each candidate is allocated points based on the selection factors of the Australia PR points calculator, and the highest-scoring among them are invited to apply for permanent residence.
