Australia Immigration English Language Eligibility Criteria

To apply for Australia permanent residency visa you need to clear the English eligibility test, the English eligibility test decides you Australia immigration pathway. Australian immigration authority works on a point-based system that is to score a minimum of 65 points out of 100 to be eligible to apply. The points are given on the bases on personal skills that are your age, work experience, English language eligibility, qualification, and other factors. In IELTS an applicant can apply for Australia permanent residency visa with a minimum of 6 bands which give zero immigration score means that you can apply for Australia permanent residency visa with 6 bands of IELTS but you will not get immigration points. However, if you applying for Australia PR with 7 bands of IELTS in each module that is reading, writing, listening and speaking you will get a total of 10 points towards your immigration score. Also if your score more than 7 bands of IETLS  you will get a total of 20 points towards your immigration score. The higher the immigration score better will be the chances of getting the invitation to apply for Australia PR visa. 

Similarly, if you are applying for Australia Pr with PTE you need to score at least 50 marks each module of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Scoring 50 marks in will not give you any immigration score but you can apply. However, if you are scoring 65 points in each module of PTE you will get 10 points towards your total immigration score and scoring more than 79 marks will give you a total of 20 points towards your immigration score. Therefore English language test is the factor which decides your total immigration points. Scoring good bands in English will definitely make an easy path for your Australian immigration process.
