You must be below 45 years of age to qualify for Australia Skilled Visas.

Your Partner

You get 10 points if your partner is a permanent resident or citizen of Australia or you are single. If they are not permanent residents or citizens of Australia, they must fulfill the following requirements for the 10 points:

• Be below 45 years of age
• Possess a minimum of Competent English
• Get a nomination in an occupation that is skilled and on the same SOL corresponding to your skilled nominated occupation
• Undergo assessment for skills from the appropriate authority for assessment for their skilled nominated occupation which was not for a 485 Subclass Visa

2022-23 Immigration Program

The Government of Australia has announced that for the program year 2022-23, the allocation of Australia PR Visas will be increased to 195,000. This will assist in easing the critical shortages in the Workforce where the skills of Australians are not on par with the demand in the industry.

The detailed composition of the allocation as outlined in the Federal Budget is as follows:

• Skilled Visa Streams – 142,400 PR Visas

This stream aims to enhance the productive capacity of the economy and cater to shortages of skills in the labor market inclusive of regions in Australia.

• Family Visa Streams –52,500 PR Visas

This category chiefly consists of Partner or Spouse Visas enabling the reunion of Australians with their overseas family members and offering them the options for Citizenship
