There are some major design changes to the iPhone SE,
besides the drop in a few dress sizes, of course. For starters, the iPhone SE does
not come with the solely aluminum design most expected; it has a
matter-chamfered finish around the edges, a stainless steel Apple logo and
comes in four metallic varieties, including the much loved rose-gold.
Other changes in the SE include a longer battery life, a
faster wireless antenna and a 12MP iSight camera, featuring Live Photos, 4K
video and Touch ID with Apply Pay. One of the few things that has stayed the
same is the 64-bit A9 chip that came with the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.
Being launched as the “Most Powerful Phone with a Four-Inch
Display”, the iPhone SE promises its customers a CPU twice as fast as other the
iPhone 5S, with a three times faster GPU performance. It will be available in space gray, silver
and rose gold colors in 16GB and 64GB varieties. The starting price for this
beauty would be $399 in the Apple retail stores in the US, and it would be
available for order starting today.
