Finally wait is over for the Apple lovers, The Company has announced the launch of Apple store partnering with Chroma. At this festive season, the signature wooden tables will be seen across the major pilot cities. However, the experimental project will be started with five cities inside Chroma stores and interior will be designed as similar to the other stores worldwide. Due to FDI restriction in the country, company was lobbying with the government since long, but recent visit of prime minister has assured the leverage in policies to us, according to Tim Cook, CEO of the Apple.

 Since long, users were struggling to find Apple stores in India; either they were buying the devices via third party re seller that cost much more than existing price worldwide. Even after purchasing the product, Apple technical support was very hard to find. There was no single point of contact to reach at the time of error in the Apple device. Apple sold 1.7 million iPhone in India. October 2014 to September 2015, compared with 1.1 million units earlier, according to market tracker sources. India is one of the company’s fastest growing markets.

 Not only the new buyers but it will help the existing users to navigate the way for Mac technical help, Apple helpline numbers, and support for all Apple devices. The competition and price discrimination will be rationalized in the market and monopoly of few players is going to be diminished. The move is highly welcomed in India after the long delay.

 At present, physical and online players are dominating the Apple market which only focused on the sales part. But at the time of Apple customer support they were unable to assist them in a proper way. And ambiguity of original and duplicate product always hovered around their head. This move will surely change the perception of the consumers.

 Even strategically, Apples decision to launch the stores in the pilot cities where lot of potential and existing user need apple support for many troubleshooting issues. The stores will enable the customer to check the right price, comparing them to the online stores and physical shops will throughout the ambiguity of price fluctuation. Although, the stores will not be accessible for the remote areas throughout the states but as soon as market share and government policies on FDI will liberated, Apple will also expend the market to the country so users can get technical support for Apple nearby.
