Apparently Jamshedji’s City is a Bag Full of Surprises

front-view-of-ginger-jamshedpurWho knew that a business tycoon would envision his business in such a way, that in order to raise his business exponentially, he would end up creating a city which would ultimately turn out to be prettier than many other major cities of India. The city is, Jamshedpur. The name is definitely kept after the person who created a whole city out of his steel plant, Mr. Jamshed Ji Tata. Setting up a steel plant in a particular place, definitely demands a lot from the nature (in the form of earth, trees, power etc) But Mr. Tata made sure that he would give back double of what nature made him. This beautiful city of Madhya Pradesh, may not be the capital but it is definitely a very important city not only in Madhya Pradesh but in India too.

Due to this whole story of the city and the steel plants, one should not be thinking that there is not much to do in the city. Rather, it is the complete opposite case. Jamshedpur is a city of vibrancy. This beautiful city of Jharkhand has many beautiful landscape views to gorge upon, as it is surrounded by the picturesque Dalma Hills. These Dalma hills have a big take on this city’s nature and wildlife. Just 10kmsaway from the city is the famous Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary. It has many animals and birds preserved, but it is actually known to be a paradise for the elephants. Along with all sorts of flora and fauna, Elephants are the showstoppers of this wildlife sanctuary.

Accommodation for such a great experience is offered at the forest guest house or there are several other fine 5 star, 4 star and 3-star hotels in Jamshedpur too. The whole hospitality sector in Jamshedpur has definitely grown bigger and better with the city. The amenities offered, the rooms, the food offered at these hotels are way beyond the expected level.

Other than the wildlife sanctuary, the rest of the things that are the highlights of the city are: The Jubilee Park, The laser Show and Musical Fountain that takes place opposite of The Jayanti Sarovar, Bhubaneswari Temple, Chhota Banki Dam (it is supposed to be the best place to get some beautiful shots on a camera, as the view is magnificent) and Rankini Mandir. This big bag full of fantastic touristic spots are the glitters and sparkles of this city and are big enough reasons for someone to visit Jamshedpur.

Jamshedpur is very well connected to all the cities of India through railways. If coming by train, one doesn’t even waste time to look for some really good accommodation. As there are some fabulous hotels near the Jamshedpur railway station which not only provide a great stay but also make one’s trip memorable.
